Be sure to define what you can control early on and pour all of your resources into those areas. For example, if bad officiating is distracting you, try to refocus your attention on the things you can control, such as your effort and consistency. It’s also helpful to practice mindfulness and meditation practices, which can help to reduce stress and increase mental calmness.
